Green Jeans Run was started in 2012 as a labor of love put together by the family of Ronnie Green in his memory. We receive amazing support from friends and the community; without their willingness to donate time and sponsorship, the event wouldn't be what it is.
The event currently includes a 5K run/walk for all ages, as well as a Kids Fun Run for those under 10 years of age. All participants in the 5K receive a t-shirt and a goody bag with their registration (including a homemade cinnamon roll!). This year's proceeds will benefit the Northridge Christian School; past years' beneficiary has been the Rock the Sock program.
